FULTON, NY – Fulton Rotarian Tim Archer introduced Martani Derooy at a recent Rotary Club meeting.
Derooy is a National Grid advocate.
Her primary responsibility is working with the low-income customers.
She is licensed in social work and has a degree from Syracuse University in social work.
She works closely with community organizations that work with low income and the disabled, such as Catholic Charities, Salvation Army and ARISE to name a few.
She covers several counties for National Grid and one of her problem areas is the military families in the Fort Drum area.
The Rotarians enjoyed learning how National Grid tries to help its customers.
