Oswego, NY – YP Voice of Oswego is teaming up with area non-for profit organizations to host The Neighborhood Networking Community Involvement Fair on October 14th at the Oswego Elks Lodge.
“We are so thrilled to offer this to our community,†said YP Voice President Dan Laird. “We are aiming to get at least 30 non-for profit groups in the door to highlight what they do in the community and where they need help.â€
The goal of the event is to attract people who are looking for a way to give back to their community. There will be several volunteer positions and even board spots open. It will also give attendees the opportunity to network with many highly regarded professionals who work hard to make a difference everyday in their respective fields.
“By getting all these wonderful groups under one roof, we can really focus in on how to help,†said Andrea Bullard, YP Voice PR/Marketing Chair. “ We hope the community comes out to this event and really takes advantage of what Oswego County and the surrounding area has to offer.â€
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 3pm on that Thursday.
