Wildlife and nature scenes from Farm Fresh by Fox are the featured art of the month at CNY Arts Center Arts Hotspot located at 47 S. First St. in downtown Fulton. The exhibit by local artist Brandy Fox is open to the public.

Brandy Fox debuts with her first art show, a collection of wildlife and nature scenes in acrylics.

With a love for animals and a simpler lifestyle, Fox has recently begun painting as a hobby while carving a homestead with roots to her past.

“Located in upstate New York, my grandparents owned a strawberry farm. While the farm closed long before I was born, my daddy continued to dream of having chickens, orchards and fields of green,” she said. “He then in turn passed this dream down to me. While he is longer with us, I continue to work toward my dream of total self-sufficiency. Included on my small town urban farm are 7 chickens, 2 ducks, a Great Dane and my 2 beautiful granddaughters! You can usually find me out in the studio hanging with my 7 girls (both feathered, fur and human kind) or working on my art.”

The exhibit from “Farm Fresh by Fox” will be open to the public during normal Hotspot hours, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Hotspot is the newest rendition of the downtown location across from the gazebo in Fulton.

Meant to inspire a friendly Wi-Fi meeting place in a comfortable arts environment, the hotspot will spotlight one artist each month as part of their mission to deliver art opportunities for artists and the community.
