New this year! A Kids’ fun run is being offered during Loop around the Lake for all children ages 4-12. The fun run is a ¼ and 1 mile run, which will start promptly at 8:00 am behind the Fulton War Memorial. All kids are number one in our book, so each one will receive a race number, finisher ribbon and goody bag for participating. The first 50 kids to enter will receive a commemorative race t-shirt. All are encouraged to stick around afterwards for some light refreshments and a little entertainment by the Twin Magicians.
Loop Around the Lakes 15K Run/5K Run and 5K Walk will start at 8:30 am, also at the Fulton War Memorial. T-shirts will be available to the first 100 registered participants. Awards for the Loops 15K/5K Run and 5K Walk will go to the top three overall male and female 15K Runners 5K Runners and 5K Walkers. Medals will go to top three in each of the following age groups:
1-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+
Both events are sponsored in part by Fidelis, MetLife and Fulton Savings Bank. The race will be Chip timed by Auyer Timing Company which is also new for this year. Early registration is highly recommended to receive a shirt.
The Fulton Family YMCA is trying to make some improvements to this years race, by adding the Kids Fun Run event and having the entire 15K/5K Run and 5K Walk timed and two positive improvements for the event.
