New Program Helps Residents Save Money On Utility Bills

NYS has funding available to help seal and insulate homes in need.

OSWEGO COUNTY – Cornell Cooperative Extension can help you make your home or office more comfortable while saving energy and money.

Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) is bringing a new program to improve the financial health and psychical wellbeing of residents in Central New York.

The program is called Smart Energy Choices and it provides free energy advising to residents, farms and agricultural operations small commercial, non-profit and multifamily building owners and managers to help them reduce their energy bill and improve the comfort of their homes and buildings.

Home heat is the biggest energy cost for CNY families. Get an energy audit now and make improvements before the snow here is to stay. Tighten up your home and keep the cold out and the heat in!

The Smart Energy Choices Program is a collaboration of Cornell Cooperative Extension offices in Oswego, Onondaga, Cayuga, Cortland and Madison counties, and is funded by a grant from NYSERDA through the Community Energy Engagement Program (CEEP).
