OSWEGO, NY – The Novelis 10Kan Race Committee is seeking volunteers for its Sept. 20 race events that begin and end in Oswego’s Breitbeck Park.

Volunteers are needed to work the Oswego Health wellness tent, monitor an intersection on one of the race routes, and to cheer and pass out water to walkers, runners, and cyclists.

Volunteers are needed between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Community members interested in volunteering should contact Scott Harrison [email protected] or (315) 312-5609 to volunteer for this great community event.

The first 200 volunteers will receive a 10Kan T-shirt.

Last year’s inaugural event raised awareness of the importance of recycling, personal wellness, building a stronger community, and presented a check for $45,000 to Oswego County Habitat for Humanity.
