Novelis To Support United Way At Taste of Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – While enjoying the wide variety of food choices at the Taste of Oswego Novelis invites you to stop at its tent for some ice cold water and soda.

All proceeds raised by Novelis during the Taste of Oswego will be donated to the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

According to Carol Dillabough, the appearance at Taste of Oswego marks the beginning of Novelis’ campaign for the United Way.

“Novelis Oswego Works is united as a team for the purpose of reaching our goal for the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s annual campaign. Our internal United Way team Live United with the same goals and objectives of the United Way. Our Novelis United Way team will be getting a jumpstart Aug. 29 at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Oswego. We hope we can count on the community’s’ support of our United Way booth at this event. We will be selling ice-cold soda from aluminum cans, water and other treats. This great community event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. behind the Econo Lodge. As members of the Novelis Oswego Works team we also ask that visitors to the Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank, remember to recycle their aluminum cans in the green recycling bins that are provided for their convenience that day. Plastic recycle bottles are also welcome,” said Dillabough.
