On Sept. 27 the third annual Bridges to Caring Walk will take place beginning and ending at the Fulton Price Chopper.

As part of the event there is a coloring contest for local youngsters, a rewards program for all walkers along with raffles, food and fun for all.

Walkers can choose to walk once around the loop for one and a half miles or twice around for a healthy three mile walk.

The rewards program allows participants to earn prizes based on their pledges and donations turned in.

Pre-registration is encouraged with all pre-registrants receiving a T-shirt as well as being entered into a raffle for a “Healthy Living Gift Basket” valued at more than $300.

The coloring contest, sponsored by Pathfinder Bank, will award two lucky children with savings bonds.

The coloring contest can be accessed on the Red Cross website at www.syrarc.org at the American Red Cross office at 333 W. First St. in Oswego or the Pathfinder Bank office in Fulton.
