OSWEGO COUNTY – Nutrition Bar Confections welcomes applicants to a hiring event at Oswego County Workforce NY, located at 200 N. Second St. in Fulton.
The event is by appointment only, which will be scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30.
“Our company began producing various nutrition bars in the late 1970s,” said Jessica Lynn, human resource manager. Since then, we have produced hundreds of millions of bars of all types, most for major companies with national brands. Today, we continue to be a proud family-owned and operated business, now in our third generation.
“The company has continued to grow with no sign of business slowing down,” continued Lynn. “In September of 2019, we opened a second line of production. We have an immediate need to fill several machine operator and entry-level production associate positions.”
The company runs two shifts each week. The first runs Sunday, Monday and Tuesday; and the second runs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Work hours for both shifts are 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Training is provided to all employees.
