OCO Head Pin ‘OPTs’ For A Ride

FULTON, NY – The honorary head pin for Oswego County Opportunities’ upcoming Bowl-A-Fun, the Pink Guardian Angel, recently enjoyed a tour of Oswego County courtesy of OCO’s Oswego County Public Transit.

Operated through OCO’s Transportation Services, Oswego County Public Transit (OPT) makes destinations throughout Oswego County only a bus ride away as it provides the public with a comprehensive, effective and cost efficient transportation option Monday through Friday.

OPT’s 13 bus routes travel through a number of the county’s towns and villages.

With each route sharing several connection points where riders may transfer to other OPT routes or Centro bus routes, travel to points in all parts of Oswego County is convenient and affordable.

Most buses operate Monday through Friday between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., with the OPT 11 bus running until 8:14 p.m.

Each route offers designated pick-up / drop-off sites as well as transfer stops.

In the event that people are unable to get to the designated OPT stops, patrons also have the ability to flag down the buses at safe locations along the route.

Buses will also deviate up to three-quarters of a mile off its usual route to pick up individuals who are unable to get to the route.
