Dr. Soogree comes to the Fulton Health Center from Oswego Hospital where he served Oswego County residents for 15 years.

As a physician who focuses on family care, Dr. Soogree is proud to be a part of OCO’s medical staff and have the opportunity to serve a wide range of patients from pediatric to adult.

“The Fulton Health Center is a very nice facility. While I was familiar with the health center I was unaware of the amount of services that they provide. It is an excellent resource for the community and does much for the medical and social well being of the communities it serves,” he said.

The opportunity to provide medical care to the population the center serves was also very appealing to him.

“I enjoy working with our patients. They deserve quality medical care and I, as well as the caring, professional staff at the Fulton Health Center, am proud to be able to provide them with such. It is a very rewarding experience and I am pleased to be practicing medicine with such an honorable organization,” added Dr. Soogree.

Physician assistant Troia brings with her a wealth of experience as a clinical social worker.

Her concern for others and her desire to work with the underserved will serve her well in her new position at OCO’s Fulton Health Center.

Troia, who received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Social Work from Syracuse University, accomplished her goal of working in the medical field when she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from LeMoyne College.

“I am excited to be joining the staff at the Fulton Health Center,” said Troia. “I always wanted to be in the medical field and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to serve those who cannot easily access medical care. My experience in social work will also be helpful in aiding the emotional well being of our consumers.”

Troia also praised the health center’s staff and its services.

“The spirit of providing quality service is very strong here. This staff is committed to the work that they do and the medical care that they provide to our patients. The Fulton Health Center plays a critical role in the health of our community. Being a very rural area, it can be difficult to access necessary medical care, and this center helps to alleviate that,” she said.

“Our health centers are staffed with medical professionals who provide our patients with a high quality of care. They truly care about the population they serve.
