OCTA (Oswego Classroom Teachers Association) has donated $500 to the Oswego Bookmobile

OSWEGO – OCTA (Oswego Classroom Teachers Association) has donated $500 to the Oswego Bookmobile.  The donation will be used to ensure that the children and young adults in Oswego have popular new titles and quality books to select from when visiting the Oswego Bookmobile. OCTA has been a regular supporter of the bookmobile since its beginning.

On July 1, the summer program will begin and run to August 16.  The schedule,  which includes all the stops and lists  the day and time for each, can be found on the Oswego Bookmobile website. The bookmobile is popular with many participants who return each week for a book and to enjoy a STEAM activity.

Driving Books Home ~ Oswego Bookmobile is a summer literacy program that delivers free books and activities to children and young adults. Bringing books to neighborhoods where kids live and play, Oswego Bookmobile encourages kids to continue reading when school is out.

Oswego Bookmobile is a 501c3 non-profit, funded by community grants and private donations. More information is available on the website www.oswegobookmobile.com or Facebook page, Oswego Bookmobile.
