OSWEGO, NY – Chris Sharkey (left) explains some of the highlights of the new buses that have been purchased by the Oswego City School District.

Board members John Dunsmoor and Thomas DeCastro, Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist and board member Lynda Sereno listen intently.

The district has 10 new buses which allow for better vision for the driver, a heater in the stairwell to prevent ice build up on steps, a four camera system with audio and visual as well as less maintenance with a six year bumper-to-bumper warranty, better emissions which benefit the environment and the best engine in the class.

These provide a safer ride for students, handle better on the highway, have modern window exits and more room for students.
