Oswego City-County Youth Bureau Launches 2018 Summer Parks Programs

OSWEGO– The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the AmeriCorps Program invite all local youth to come out and join the fun in their local park this summer.

Admission is free for the program which runs Monday through Friday, June 25 to August 17.

Kids can enjoy games and activities led by AmeriCorps members Emily Cheney and Zach Vaccaro in parks throughout the city of Oswego.

Breitbeck Park on Lake Street hosts the fun on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to noon.

In the afternoon, activities continue in Washington Square (East Park) on Bridge Street from 2 to 4 p.m.

Franklin Square (West Park) on Seneca Street hosts a variety of activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by more fun in Oak Hill Park on East Seventh Street from 1 to 3 p.m.
