OSWEGO – The Oswego Community Youth Orchestra will hold its annual Spring Concert April 9 at 7 p.m.

Sheldon Hall Ballroom of SUNY Oswego is the elegant concert hall, and special guests SUNY Oswego Community Orchestra will perform the finale with OCYO.
Parking is plentiful and free.

Solos by OCYO student musicians will compliment the full orchestra selections composed by Mozart, Bach and more.
OCYO musicians are elite local string musicians in grades 7-12.

With the SUNY Oswego College Community Orchestra
Juan Francisco La Manna is orchestra director at SUNY Oswego, artistic director and conductor of Oswego Opera, and conductor of the Oswego Youth Orchestra.
Prior to his appointment at SUNY, Dr. La Manna was conductor for the State Ballet of Missouri, where he directed the St. Louis and Kansas City Symphonies; he was also music director of the Northland Symphony and the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra.
Dr. La Manna was principal conductor for Miami City Ballet for four years, directing ensembles such as the Cleveland Orchestra and the Naples Philharmonic, and receiving excellent reviews from newspapers such as The New York Times and The Miami Herald.
This past November he directed Oswego Opera’s production of Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro.
