The Oswego County Board of Elections is looking for election inspectors to work the upcoming elections.
To qualify, an inspector needs to be a registered voter in the county and be an enrolled Democrat or Republican.
Inspectors work the entire day.
During the Primary Election, inspectors work from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. or until paperwork is complete.
During the General Election, inspectors work from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m, or until paperwork is complete.
The pay is between $110 and $160.
Inspectors are also required to attend a training class and are paid for attending the class.
New York State law requires a bipartisan team of inspectors, of two Democrats and two Republicans, at every district.
Those interested are asked to call the Oswego County Board of Elections weekdays at 315-349-8350 or 315-349-8351.
