OSWEGO, New York – Pastors from the Oswego County church community gathered recently for a breakfast and tour at the Oswego Salvation Army’s new facility, which is currently under construction.
The Oswego Salvation Army is an important partner to our area churches and a significant resource for pastors in our community. The Oswego Salvation Army is currently raising funds as part of their $1.6 million “I Believe†capital campaign for building renovations and expanded services, and are asking churches within Oswego, Mexico and Pulaski to consider a gift to the campaign.

The Oswego Salvation Army has raised nearly $1 million of their goal for the campaign, primarily through the support of numerous corporate and individual donors within the Oswego community.
Phase I of the construction is scheduled to be completed in April 2010.

The Oswego Salvation Army is part of the International Salvation Army organization, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The local citadel provides food, education, services and spiritual support to the local community.
