OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Youth Bureau announces the completion of a new bathhouse at Camp Zerbe as well as a new rental option for families and groups seeking a venue for events.

The new bathhouse was designed to enhance the experience of all Camp Zerbe visitors. It supplements the existing bathhouse and provides restroom facilities attached to the lodge.

“Prior to this project, guests renting the Camp Zerbe Lodge would have to trek over 100 yards to the other bathhouse,” said Oswego County Youth Bureau Executive Director Brian Chetney. “The new bathhouse is located alongside the lodge, creating a much more practical option for our guests. In addition to sinks and toilets, the new bathhouse has showers, a brand-new amenity to Camp Zerbe.”

The work on the bathhouse was completed by Upstate Construction Services, Inc. and engineered by GYMO Architecture, Engineering, and Land Surveying DPC.

The Paco Malone Building at Camp Zerbe (pictured) is now available for venue rentals! The newly renovated facility can be used year-round and accommodates up to 50 people for events. In addition to the Paco Malone Building, Camp Zerbe also offers rentals of its lodge or pavilion. For more information on facility rentals, call the Oswego County Youth Bureau at 315-349-3450 or email Parks and Recreation Coordinator Kyle Perez at [email protected].

The Oswego County Buildings and Grounds Department recently completed restoration work on the Paco Malone Building at Camp Zerbe, offering a new rental option for events. The building is equipped with a fireplace and heating system and can be used year-round. It accommodates up to 50 guests and makes a great rental option for a birthday party, bridal shower or meeting. Rental fees for the building are $150 for up to five hours and $375 for up to 10 hours.

“We are excited to enhance the Camp Zerbe experience with these new facilities,” said Oswego County Parks and Recreation Director Kyle Perez. “The bathhouse provides our guests, especially those renting and utilizing the lodge, the convenience and comfort they deserve, while the renovated Paco Malone Building will attract more visitors and provide them with more options at the facility. Additionally, the Paco Malone Building will enhance our summer camp program by providing more usable program space, especially on rainy days.”
