FULTON – John McGraw, the Coordinator of the Oswego County Drone And Robotics Program, recently visited the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club. The mission of the program is to provide support for law enforcement, fire departments, and search and rescue operations. After retiring 9 years ago from the fire department, John began working in Emergency Management. He manages 21 pilots who average 75-150 calls per month. The drones can detect the heat signature of human beings and animals within houses, buildings, and wooded areas. There is one underwater drone in Oswego, and in the near future, there will be one in Fulton.
