FULTON – The Oswego County Federal Credit Union has signed on as a Silver Level Sponsor for Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Glow for OCO Golf Tournament. The nighttime, glow ball tournament serves as a fundraiser for OCO’s “There’s No Place Like A Home” initiative.
“For the past 58 years OCO has been a lifeline for hundreds of individuals and families facing challenges, including developmental disabilities, addiction, mental health issues, domestic violence and homelessness,” said OCO Development Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “We provide not just shelter, but essential supportive services to help people rebuild their lives and become self-sufficient. ‘There’s No Place Like A Home’ is a theme that will permeate throughout all of our activities and events this year.
Proceeds from the Glow for OCO Golf Tournament will support programs that are aimed at providing those services.”
“Oswego County Federal Credit Union is thrilled to support such a great event to benefit Oswego County Opportunities,” said Vice President of Lending Aimee Glerum. “OCO’s services, which empower people, support communities and change lives, have a positive impact on our community. We are proud to partner with such a vital agency as OCO.”
OCO’s Glow for OCO Golf Tournament will be held August 16th with teams of four teeing off at dusk with special glow-in-the-dark golf balls as they take on the challenging course at the Tamarack Golf Club, 2021 County Route 1, Oswego in an exciting “Best Ball” tournament.
