OSWEGO – Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) participated in its third ‘Love Out Loud’ initiative, a community-focused program launched in 2023 to spread love, positivity, and kindness across the communities it serves.
As part of the initiative, OCFCU team members purchased ice cream for community members at local spots throughout Oswego, Fulton, Mexico, and Phoenix. In addition to treating the community to ice cream, the team also handed out sunglasses and magnets as tokens of appreciation.
Aimee Glerum, Vice President of Lending at OCFCU and organizer of the Love Out Loud initiative, shared, “We created this program to give back to our community and remind people that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Seeing the smiles and hearing stories from those we interacted with was truly rewarding. We’re excited to continue spreading love throughout Oswego County.”
OCFCU plans to continue its mission of positively impacting the community with future events to spread love and kindness throughout the region.
