OSWEGO — The Oswego County Historical Society will host the 29th Annual “Not So Silent Auction” on April 8 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 E. First St.

Ticket donation is $20 per person and will be available for purchase at the door the day of the event.
Currently the auction committee is organizing another fun evening event in support of the society’s Richardson-Bates House Museum headquarters.
“In addition to our special live auction portion, a popular antique appraisal opportunity will return again this year,” said Lyn Patterson, auction committee co-chair.
Every ticket will include one free antique appraisal by Gerald Petro of Iroquois Auctions.
Additional appraisals after the first free one will be $5 each.
All proceeds from this important event will go towards the operating costs of the Richardson-Bates House Museum.
“We are always grateful to receive valuable items from generous donors,” added Jennifer Mays, auction committee co-chair. “Each year brings a different selection of unique things to bid on. Please be sure to save the date on your calendar and bring a friend.”
Anyone wishing to make a donation of quality items in support of the auction, offer to help sponsor the event or would like to purchase tickets in advance, can contact the museum by phone at 343-1342 or by email at [email protected].
