Bob Green honored

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee recently recognized Fulton resident Robert “Bob” Green for his commitment and service to the community.

A volunteer for more than three decades, Green has served on the boards of various organizations including the Fulton YMCA, Friends of Fulton Parks, the Fulton Public Library, and the Oswego County Tourism Advisory Council.

In response to the increasing problem of littering, he formed “The Green Team” to help re-introduce the concept of taking care of the environment.

A shining example of dedication, compassion and enthusiasm for his community, Green was nominated by the Oswego County Office for the Aging to attend the New York State 2017 Senior Citizen’s Recognition Day in Albany.
