OSWEGO – Legislator Kevin Gardner, District 13, was elected Oswego County Legislature Chairman during the group’s May 9 meeting.
County legislators also voted for Terry Wilbur, District 21, as their vice chairman and appointed James Weatherup as legislator for District 9; which represents the village of Central Square and portions of the town of Hastings.
New York State Surrogate Court Justice Spencer J. Ludington administered the oath of office for each representative.
The legislature’s next regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on June 13, in the Legislative Chambers of the County Office Building at 46 E. Bridge St. in Oswego.
