OSWEGO – These are the people who keep us living a safer life in Oswego County.

Integrated Community Planning

On October 22, the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee and the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board celebrated nine individuals and one agency who exemplify dedication to traffic safety.

The local Traffic Safety Board is comprised of all sectors, police, STOP DWI, fire, EMS, school, business and non-profit organizations.

The board is coordinated by Billie Crandall Brady, who provides free programming to schools and groups on traffic safety issues such as teen driver and passenger safety, child passenger safety and car seats, seatbelts, and bicycle and pedestrian safety.

The program is funded by grants from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
