Oswego County Unveils Shoreline Stabilization Project

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Camp Hollis on Wednesday to celebrate the completion of the shoreline stabilization project. The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau received $500,000 in funding through the New York State Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) to maintain, sustain and protect the Lake Ontario shoreline at Camp Hollis. Attendees included representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the Oswego County Legislature, the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau, and representatives from state and regional officials and contractors.
