Oswego County Workforce New York Hosts ‘Workforce Spooktacular’ for Young Adults

OSWEGO COUNTY – Oswego County Workforce New York (OCWNY) invites older teens and young adults to its “Workforce Spooktacular” on Wednesday, Sept. 30! The free event is open to residents aged 16-24 who are looking for work and not currently attending school. It runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at the OCWNY career center, 200 N. Second St., Fulton.

“We’re excited to welcome young adults to our ‘Spooktacular’ event and provide them with an opportunity to connect, have fun and learn about career and education resources available to them,” said Oswego County Workforce Development Director Rachel Pierce.

“Our Young Adult Workers Program is designed to help eligible participants build the skills and confidence they need to achieve their education and employment goals,” she explained. “From improving learning and job skills and earning a high school equivalency diploma to pursuing college or vocational training and securing employment, the program offers a wide range of supportive services to help young adults take the next step toward a successful future. We’re also adding some fun to the experience with festive activities and a chance to win a $250 door prize!”

Attendees will also be able to play fall-themed games, decorate pumpkins, join in a photo booth and enjoy snacks and drinks.
