Oswego County’s ‘Factory Town’ To Be Highlighted

PULASKI, NY – “Pulaski: Oswego County’s ‘Factory Town'” will be the topic at the Pulaski Historical Society’s meeting on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Carriage House and is free and open to the public.

Refreshments will be served.

Terry Rossman, president of the Pulaski Historic Society, has gathered information on the services and businesses in the early days of Pulaski that gave rise to its industries.

He will talk about the stories of some of the various types of mills and factories, their functions, the notable products these early industries created and what made Pulaski a home for industry.

The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Cole Muffler/Brake.

The museum’s regular hours in November is Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There are also regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
