Oswego Discussion Show Pairs Superintendent, Students

OSWEGO – The second episode of “The Dean and Dane Show,” a monthly back-and-forth discussion program featuring students and Oswego City School District Superintendent Dr. Dean Goewey, has been released by WBUC television studio.

The 20-minute show features conversation between OHS Junior Dane Richardson and Dr. Goewey about pressing issues facing the district, parents, students and greater Oswego community.

“Communication between the district and families is incredibly important and we want to get as much information out to the public as we can in as many ways as we can,” said Dr. Goewey.

The show also highlights outstanding student achievement and projects in all seven district schools during the “Around Oswego” segment, hosted by Jack Lee and Jenna Bradshaw.

Footage submitted by students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade is also featured, making it a collaborative show spanning the entire district.

The show is uploaded to YouTube on the WBUC page and loops on WBUC’s Channel 16 (cable) throughout the month.
