Oswego Farmers’ Market To Feature Italian Night

OSWEGO, NY –  Find the finest in farm fresh fruits, vegetables and other produce, as well as some tasty Italian delicacies, at the Oswego Farmers’ Market’s Italian Night.

Sponsored by St. Luke’s, Italian Night at the market will feature delicious, homemade Italian food from Canale’s Restaurant that will be available at the chamber booth.

In addition, Bob Riggio of Tri-R Music will be playing Italian songs and other favorites from 4 to 5:45 p.m. followed by the country sound of JD & Rollin’ South.

Representatives from St. Luke’s will also be at the market offering free blood pressure screenings and distributing information regarding the many services available from St. Luke’s.

Located in downtown Oswego on West First Street, between Bridge and Oneida streets, the market offers a great selection of fresh produce, with new items and vendors added weekly as more produce comes into season.

You’ll also find a wide variety of home made baked goods and delicacies, honey, maple syrup, and plenty of arts and crafts along with other crowd favorites such as fresh squeezed lemonade, fried dough, Italian sausage and more.

Electronic transactions such as credit, debit or food stamp cards can be accommodated at the chamber’s market booth as customers may purchase tokens that function as cash within the market.

The market is held Thursdays from 4 – 8 p.m. and features live entertainment each week through Sept. 30.
