Originally formed in the early 1990s as a folk-rock cover band, Doc Apple was heavily influenced by the music of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan, and The Band.

As the band began performing its own original music, its popularity grew as people were drawn to the positive vibes and danceable grooves of the band’s music.

During its performance at the market, Doc Apple will perform a variety of selections from its extensive catalogue of original music including tunes from its critically acclaimed CDs, Hope and Now & Then.

Over the years, Doc Apple has toured throughout New York State and New England and has performed with national acts such as The Spin Doctors, Hot Tuna, New Riders of the Purple Sage and the original members of the Grateful Dead.

The market is held each Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. through Sept. 30.
