Oswego High School’s National Honor Society wraps up ‘No Shave November’ Fundraiser

OSWEGO – The Oswego High School’s National Honor Society has successfully wrapped up its annual “No Shave November” fundraiser in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The event, a tradition at OHS since the 2011-12 school year, raises funds to support efforts to eradicate pediatric cancer. Eight teachers participated in “No Shave November,” while others helped collect donations.

“Thank you to all who participated and helped raise a substantial amount of money for a cause that is so important,” said Kayley Morse, OHS NHS adviser. “Also, a special thank you to OHS juniors Delaney Bobbett and Jade Scheg, who volunteered to be the event chairs to orchestrate this successful event. We are already looking forward to holding this event next year!”

This year, donations reached $339.67. This fundraiser reflects the compassion and dedication of the OCSD community, inspiring optimism for future efforts.
