Oswego Lions Club To Distribute Bicycle Helmets At Pumpkin Fest

OSWEGO, NY – In an effort to ensure the safety of the community’s youth, the Oswego Lions Club will be providing free bicycle helmets during the CNY Great Pumpkin Festival.

On Saturday, Lions Club members will be at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce tent from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. distributing free bicycle helmets to children.

In addition, they will be providing children with a free fitting to make sure they have the proper size helmet.

Pumpkin Fest will be held Saturday and Sunday in Washington Square Park.

It will feature two days of food, fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The giant pumpkin weigh-in will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The giant pumpkins will be on display at the festival on Saturday only.
