OSWEGO – Following is a list of events being held at the Oswego Public Library during the month of April:
April 4 5:30 – 6:30 LEGO Club in the Children’s Room. Build to your heart’s content and they will be displayed until the next Lego Club for all to see. All Children’s Room programs at the Oswego Public Library are free and open to the public.
April 5 12:30 – 4:30 Basket Weaving Class with Barb Klem sponsored by Friends of the Library. You must register at foloswego.com/learn-to-signup-2 or by calling 315.341.5867
April 7 is the last day Surveys can be completed before we begin our Strategic Planning. Paper surveys are available at the Oswego Public Library or you may go online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/oswegopublibcommunity-survey
April 9 Open LEGO Play all day in the Children’s Room!
April 13 12:00 – 1:15 Things You Probably Never Knew About Volney talk by Volney Historian Bob Coant in the Community Room downstairs. Q&A throughout the presentation.

April 14 5:00 – 6:00 Trauma Informed Care for People Who Use Drugs social work continuing education workshop. Katherine Tineo-Komatsu will run the free workshop. If arriving after 5 PM, use the side entrance to the library. Register online at linktr.ee/CNYAHEC
April 15 1:00 – 3:00 Preschool Playtime. Bring your preschooler to celebrate spring inside the library with themed games and crafts.
April 22 1:00 – 3:00 Art with Jessica J, a free family art class, will be doing Earth Day art! 8-14 year olds may attend with or without parents, younger children should attend with parents. Register in the Children’s Room.
