On October 19, Lake Ontario Chapter 165 welcomed their companions from Ottawa Chapter 222 to Oswego for its annual “Hands across the Border” event at Lake City Lodge in Oswego.
Each year the two chapters exchange visits to their respective nations.

Last year, members of Lake Ontario traveled to Canada and this year 3 Canadian Royal Arch Masons and their ladies visited the United States. The Royal Arch Masons enjoyed a lunch and banquet Saturday night.
During the afternoon our visitors received the Past Masters and Yellow Dog degrees. The ladies traveled to Northern Mall for shopping.
The evening festivities included a banquet a turkey dinner served by Lake City Victoria Chapter Eastern Star. Musical entertainment was provided by Scott Delahung. Gifts were exchanged between the host and visitors.
Three cups were united for the evening and then retrieve by each chapter. The Companions from Ottawa took possession of the traveling cup which will be returned next year when Lake Ontario Chapter visits Ottawa Chapter in Canada.
