Oswego Salvation Army Searching For More Bellringers

With the Red Kettle campaign well under way, the search for bellringers is still a priority for The Salvation Army of Oswego. There are still a large number of kettle slots that need bellringers for weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Of critical need are bellringers the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Volunteer bellringers are key to a successful campaign in Oswego. Individuals, groups and businesses who make a personal commitment and sacrifice to ring the bells are the direct reason why The Salvation Army can provide services locally.

Captain Kenneth Hayes, director of The Salvation Army in Oswego, is making a special plea for groups, organizations and companies who can adopt-a-kettle for several hours at a time.

Those interested in volunteering as bellringers or bellringer groups, may contact The Salvation Army at 315-343-6491. They may also call The Red Kettle Center, 24/7 at 1-877-764-7259 or go to www.redkettles.org.

The Red Kettle Campaign is the most important fundraiser of the year for The Salvation Army. Money raised is used to provide local services and to help families in crisis throughout the year. missing or outdated ad config
