Oswego Salvation Army To Welcome Steve Canale For Guest Chef Dinner

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Salvation Army will welcome Steve Canale of The Press Box to its Guest Chef dinner to be held Oct. 8 from 4:30-6:30 p.m., according to Captain Corinne Hayes of the Oswego Chapter of the Salvation Army.

Canale will be dishing up one of his specialties, roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, Italian green beans, and salad. Dessert will be provided by the Salvation Army Advisory Board.

“This is a major fundraising event and it is important to know that not only is the public invited, but welcomed to come for a delicious dinner at a reasonable price and one that helps your neighbors at the same time,” said Capt. Hayes.

The guest servers at this event will be members of the Oswego Rotary Club.

Tickets are $8.50 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. They are available at the Oswego Salvation Army or from all Oswego Salvation Army Advisory Board members.

All proceeds will benefit the Oswego Salvation Army’s “I Believe” campaign.

The campaign will help with renovations and expanded services at the new Salvation Army citadel, the former New York State Labor Department on West Second Street.
