
OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City School District thanked the New York State Police for support in maintaining a drug-free and weapon-free environment at Oswego High School.
Recently, several members of the canine units did a practice sweep.
District officials presented a certificate of appreciation to the involved units.
Involved in the program were Trooper John Poggie (Troop D), Trooper Kevin Beattie (Troop B), Trooper Eric Knapp (Troop D), Trooper Ron Morse (Troop D), Trooper Dan Snyder (Troop T), Sgt. Bob Dixon (Troop D), Oswego School District Director of Security John Anderson, OHS Executive Principal Brian Hartwell, Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist, and Oswego Board of Education members Kathleen Allen and Tom DeCastro.
