Oswego Sunrise Rotary Honors Interact, Rotaract Students

OSWEGO, NY – On April 13, members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary met with members of the Oswego High School Interact Club and SUNY Oswego Rotaract Club in the community room furnished by Oswego Rotary clubs in the Oswego City Library.

Interact is a high school club that gives young people an opportunity to serve their school, community and the world.

Rotaract provides college students with similar opportunities to serve the community.

Both groups have been active in community service projects during the past year.

Sunrise Rotary invited the graduating members of both clubs to a pizza party and honored their service to the community.

Both groups will continue to serve their community on May 1 by cleaning the Rotary trail behind Old Fort Ontario.

The Rotaract students will be graduating and either entering the work force or graduate school.

The Interact students will be entering college.
