Stuff a Bus is a program that provides school supplies to needy children in Oswego County.

Nine business in Oswego County work with the United Way as collection points for school supplies.

The program collects school supplies such as backpacks, loose-leaf paper, spiral notebooks, composition books, graph paper, three-ring binders, dividers with tabs, pocket folders, post-it notes, pencils, pencil boxes, pens, erasers, crayons, markers, rulers, high lighters, glue and safety scissors.

The items are collected and after sorting they are distributed to schools throughout Oswego County.

Last year, 1,500 received supplies.

The group hopes to be able to help more children this year.

The program will continue to collect supplies until Aug. 13. missing or outdated ad config
