Oswego Women’s Organization Installs New Officers

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Association of Business and Professional Women installed new officers at its May meeting.

“We are blessed with a great group of women!” said Clark. “A very exciting day for me personally as I am the new president of the association.”

The OABPW is an active community service organization.

Membership includes working women and retirees.

They support local groups and organizations.

“We contribute to the Human Concerns Center and focus on a Thanksgiving food drive for them. We also adopt needy families at Christmas and provide gifts as well as food. Each year, we award a scholarship to a local female graduate of Oswego High School,” Clark said.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, with the exception of July and August.

Social time is at 6 p.m. with a meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed with dinner.

Scholarship applications available at guidance counselor’s office at OHS and will be announced at June’s meeting.
