OSWEGO – The Oswego YMCA is excited to welcome runners, walkers, families, and community supporters to the 37th Annual Harborfest 5K & Kids Fun Run on Saturday, July 25, one of Harborfest weekend’s most popular family-friendly traditions. Open to participants of all ages and fitness levels, the event combines healthy fun, community spirit, and friendly competition in the heart of Oswego during one of the city’s premier summer celebrations.
The morning begins with the Kids Fun Run at 8:00 a.m., giving young participants the opportunity to experience the excitement of race day. The Harborfest 5K Run/Walk follows at 8:30 a.m., welcoming both competitive runners and recreational walkers. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top finishers in each age-group division. Parents participating in the 5K can take advantage of childcare provided by the YMCA’s Play & Learn Center following the Kids Fun Run, allowing them to enjoy the race while their children participate in a safe, supervised environment.
The Oswego YMCA is proud to once again receive outstanding support from local community partners. This year’s Harborfest 5K & Kids Fun Run is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Burritt Motors & Adventure at Burritt, C’s Farm Market & Beverage Center, Circle T Enterprises, and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, in addition to numerous in-kind donations from local businesses. Their commitment to supporting healthy lifestyles, youth development, and community engagement helps ensure the continued success of this long-standing Harborfest tradition. Proceeds from the event support vital programs and services the YMCA provides to the greater Oswego community.
Registration is now open. Participants may register online at runsignsup.com or stop by the Oswego YMCA to register in person. Please note that there will be no same-day registration.
