OSWEGO, NY – Frederick Leighton Elementary School fifth grade teacher Tom Wiegand has incorporated Skype into his classroom curriculum to take his students on a journey to England.
Recently, students from Leighton visited with students in England.
Interactive discussion, questions and answers about schools, geography, and children in general highlighted the session.
Wiegand and his class take a journey on Skype every Thursday for about a half hour.
