Parade of Trees at the John Wells Pratt House Museum

The Friends of History in Fulton, N.Y., Inc. will be hosting their annual Christmas Parade of Trees Monday, November 28 through Friday, December 9, at the John Wells Pratt House, 177 South First Street, Fulton, N.Y.

This is the twenty-third year for this event and it has drawn a total of eleven lovely theme Christmas trees decorated by local organizations, clubs, and youth and children’s groups.

Visitors at the Pratt House will vote for their favorite trees in three categories, adult, youth, and children’s. The winners in each category will receive a first prize of $100.00, second prize of $75.00, and third prize of $50.00.

For the entire twenty-three years of this program, Fulton Savings Bank has sponsored the first prizes and Oswego Valley Insurance Agencies have sponsored the second prizes. For the past six years, William and Karen Hubel, of the Blue Moon Grill, and the past five years Gosch Supply and Lighting Centre and for three years, Stephen Wise of Edward Jones Investments have sponsored the third place prizes.

The Friends of History extend their appreciation to the sponsors for their loyal support of this popular Society event.

The public is invited to view the decorated trees and vote for their favorites, Monday through Friday from 12 noon to 3 P.M. and on Saturday, December 3 from 11 A. M. to 3 P. M. Greeters will also be on hand to give tours of the museum. You are welcome to browse the popular gift shop at the museum, which features some unusual items for Christmas giving.
