FULTON, NY – Today, people with disabilities are leading more independent lives than previous generations due to assistive technology.
These are devices designed to help them with everyday activities that might otherwise be difficult or impossible.
Parents of Special Children invites parents and professionals living or working with individuals with a disability to join us for a webinar (web-based seminar) workshop – Negotiating Assistive Technology Supports and Services.
The program will go over different types of assistive technology that can aid in a student’s success in school, resources available and strategies for negotiating these services.
Please join us during one of our two sessions: Dec. 3, 1 – 3:30 p.m. or 6 – 8:30 p.m.
There is a $3 cost per person, with a lunch or dinner to be served.
Registration is required by Nov. 30 as space is limited.
