OSWEGO COUNTY – The Parish Veterans Banner Committee is excited to announce the launch of its “Hometown Heroes Banner Program,” a special initiative to recognize and celebrate the brave men and women of our Armed Forces. This program offers a wonderful opportunity for residents to honor current and former service members with a visible tribute displayed right here in our village.
Starting this May and continuing through November, personalized banners will proudly line the streets of the Village of Parish. Each banner will serve as a heartfelt thank you to our local heroes.
“We are absolutely thrilled to bring this program to Parish,” says a representative from the Parish Veterans Banner Committee. “It’s a fantastic way for us all to show our gratitude and give back to those who have given so much for our country. We really hope everyone gets involved and helps us fill our village with these meaningful tributes.”
If you would like to honor a veteran or active service member from Parish, we invite you to purchase a banner. The cost is $270.00, which includes hardware.
