OSWEGO, New York – Pathfinder Bank and Oswego County Habitat for Humanity have partnered to provide a home for a family in the city of Oswego, according to Edward Mervine, Esq., Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Pathfinder Bank.

Pathfinder Bank donated a home, valued at $35,000 to the local Habit for Humanity organization.

“We are pleased to join with Habitat in making this donation,” said Mervine. “Habitat has been providing families with affordable housing for decades. For us, it was an opportunity to partner with a wonderful program and help give back to a community that has been supporting us for over 150 years.”

According to Maggie Glass, president of the Oswego County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, the donated home is being renovated by their committed volunteers, and will then be ready for a new family to move in.
“We are grateful for our vast group of volunteers that continue to show their support of Habitat, and also greatly appreciate Pathfinder Bank’s commitment to our organization and their advocacy within this community,” said Glass. “Pathfinder Bank’s donation will provide a family a new home, and also help revitalize that neighborhood.”
