FULTON – Improvements designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents continue here at Michaud. The latest project was a complete replacement of the North Patio, a favorite gathering spot for residents and family members.

“The brand new patio area allows our residents to enjoy outdoor activities in a safe and comfortable environment,” said Michaud Administrator Mike Schafer. “The project resulted in an increase in the amount of usable space, while drainage and other structural issues were repaired or improved. New flower boxes that are accessible for all residents were installed and patio furniture will soon be updated. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The patio renovation project was completed by Natoli General Contractors. Staff from Michaud contributed to the project by constructing a retaining wall and adding landscaping elements.

Funding to complete the project came from the St. Luke-John Foster Burden Fund. missing or outdated ad config
