Pet of the Week – Peaches

Peaches

Peaches

OSWEGO – You know the children’s rhyme that goes, “There was a little girl and she had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. And when she was good she was very very good. And when she was bad she was horrid.”

That was really about Peaches the cat.

Peaches
Peaches

She is calm, amiable and affectionate most of the time.

She’s fine with strangers and other cats.

She loves chasing little balls around.

She’s sleek and elegant and playful and has just a ridiculously long tail along with a very ladylike little meow.

But, and it’s a big BUT, she can be a nipper.

Not very often and not seriously, but when she’s annoyed she will nip.

Oh, and she hates dogs.

We don’t know why, but she seriously hates them.

So you are either willing to put up with those idiosyncrasies or you need another cat.

But if you don’t have any dogs and you appreciate idiosyncratic cats, and your ego is not going to be squashed by the occasional nip, maybe Peaches is the one for you.
