Fulton, NY — December 16, 2025 — Oswego Industries is proud to announce the launch of Creative Connections, a new inclusive arts initiative for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Oswego County—made possible through the generosity of three leading philanthropic organizations.
The JM McDonald Foundation, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation, and the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation have each awarded $5,000 grants, providing a combined $15,000 in critical funding to fund the first year of Creative Connections. This collective investment will empower Oswego Industries to deliver adaptive arts education, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities for people with IDD, fostering creativity, self-expression, and inclusion.
The philanthropic support will fund professional artist-led workshops, mentorships, the resources, and more, needed to make the program accessible to all participants. By investing in Creative Connections, these foundations are helping to build a more inclusive and vibrant Oswego County.
